Keith Rowden

Keith Rowden is an Auckland‑based director and technical operations leader with extensive experience in complex, regulated projects involving hazardous materials, remediation, and deconstruction, where health and safety and compliance risks have been significant across the UK, Europe, and New Zealand. He leads Project Consult Ltd, providing specialist client‑side advisory and delivery‑assurance support, and also provides technical asbestos advisory assistance for Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora – Northern Region.

Over more than two decades, Keith has held senior management roles in asbestos, remediation, and other high‑risk project environments, with responsibility for operational strategy, governance, compliance, and delivery systems. His background includes major projects in healthcare, education, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and nuclear‑sector settings, where strong health and safety leadership and disciplined project controls were essential.

Keith is recognised for strengthening compliance, improving delivery systems, embedding safe systems of work, and supporting high‑performing teams. He holds project management, asbestos, health and safety, and laser safety qualifications, and continues to extend his expertise through advanced study in occupational health and safety management and tertiary teaching.
